The pipemaker Bengt Carlson was 70 last March. I visited him in his home on the very day together with the pipemakers Anders Nilsson and Martin Vollmer. As Bengt favors small pipes, I had asked Anders and Martin to make a special version of the Globe for Bengt. Bengt was also presented by the “nose-warmer” by Anders and Martin. We wish Bengt all the best for the future, hoping that he will continue making his beautiful pipes for many years to come.
